Default I need an excersice routine...

My husband and I recently joined a gym. It has pretty much everything, even a pool, hot tub, and suana. (Certain days of the week they have random classes, like "boot camp" or cardio workout sessions.)

My husband does his thing, he's done this before. (He already has amazing results...)

I feel like I don't really know where to start or what to do... or how long to do it for.

Basically, I just had a baby 7 months ago, so naturally, I have that baby weight to lose... I'm currently 5'5", and around 156 lbs. (145 lbs pre-pregnancy)

I was content at 145, though I'd like to EVENTUALLY drop down to 135-ish.

I want to get rid of the belly pooch thing I have going on here... and I definitely need diet help... I know this, because I do NOT eat veggies... not even salad. I KNOW, bad... But I just can't get myself to do it...

Anyway, I need like, a strict routine... like what to do for cardio? How long? Should I do sit ups? How many? Etc etc... Thank you.

1)Schedule the time:- Take your day and divides your part wise exercise on a piece of paper.
2)Choose your workout:- Do whatever you like to do whether it's swimming, cycling, running or other exercises.
3)Set your goal:- You must set your path like what to eat and when to eat and how much to eat and do same for exercise.
4)Stick to your plan:- After planning, you must stick to your workout, foods and time.
5)Rewards yourself for a good behavior.

Spend $30, $40 or $50 dollars for an hour with a good personal trainer. The gym you joined sounds very nice, so I assume they have several personal trainers on hand or that you can be referred to. IMO It will be worth every penny.

You can research on the Internet until your eyes bug out, you can buy and read every diet & exercise book available and you can talk to friends, neighbors and forums like this one until you're dizzy in the head. But nothing beats some quality one on one, face to face time with someone who knows their stuff and has you standing in front of them to show you how to do it.

Three hints that someone told me a long time ago (in the order of importance):

    1. FUEL What you put into your body, how much you put into your body and when you put it into your body is the most important thing you will do.

    2. FORM Learn the proper form for each exercise you do. Whether it's free weight training, aerobics, machines, yoga, etc. The proper form is vital to your success.

    3. WEIGHT The amount of weight you lift or resistence you use should be the least of your concerns at this point.

RESULTS will come if you are willing to follow the routine developed by your trainer while keeping the three hints in mind.

Remember that muscle weighs more than fat, so while you're slimming/trimming down, there may be times when you feel like you haven't lost any weight but you have lost inches.

I would assume that any trainer you meet with will want you to do a combination of things listed above, three to five days each week.

I wish you all the best!
