Default Bicycling and weight loss?

I was wondering if anyone has lost much weight by just going out bike riding.

How long did you go out?
How much weight did you lose?
And how long did it take?

I have a friend of mine who is very fat and that I advice her to do some bike riding....And it worked for her...She lose those excess fat that was in her body.

Bike riding is just like riding the bike at the gym, except going bike riding is much more fun and it actually does help with weightloss becuase its a form of cardio excersise and tones the leg a greal deal. I cant tell how long it would take to lose weight doing this because ofcourse you will have to include a healthy diet with that.

Yes it is great for toneing the legs and so forth I used to ride bikes but pretty much got away from it now I have a nice bike in the house. Use it several times a week!! Oh I forgot LOL I also do some jogging we it comes handy.

to answer your bike question, yes it does work im living proof of it , I lost about 10 pounds from bike riding, I find that going out on the bike on semy rough terain is good for your entire body gives all of it a good work out, also its nice and peaceful and lets you loose yourself in the nature of things.
