Got my running in today. YAY me!!
Ran for 35 minutes, walked for 5 minutes. After I did upper body exercises with my kettlebells for about 20 minutes.
After doing some thinking, I decided to split this out from the "Weight Loss Buddies" thread in the Weight Loss section.
Come here and log what you do every day.
What are you motivations? What would you like to do? What are you currently doing?
No matter what it is, come share with us. Are you walking, running, Zumba, doing chair stretches? Anything, we want to know!
Share your ideas, your strengths, your weaknesses!

Friendship Prayer
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the crotch of the person who screws up your day and may their arms be too short to scratch.
Amen

My morning routine always consists of two things:
1.) 30-40 minutes of low intensity cardio - walking in place while watching morning news. I always exercise before breakfast burns more FAT! Also stimulates a greater than normal release of growth hormone and keeps levels elevated throughout the day.
2.) 200 knee lifts - 100 with ankle weights and 100 w/o ankle weights
Afternoon routine:
1.) 20 minutes of rebounding - if weather permits outside on trampoline
2.) I alternate weight lifting exercises - one day lower body - next day upper body.
I will be 48 this year and my main focus is balance. I'm not trying to be a body builder anymore, my goal is to maintain what I have.
Before you talk about what you want ~ Be happy with what you have
Good for you JH!!
I've tried working out in the morning and I just can't do it, I get exhausted very easily when I do it, so I normally workout mid afternoon.
I forgot to report what I did yesterday.
Yesterday I did my interval running and got my kettlebells in.
Today I decided to do my TreadClimber (which I HIGHLY recommend, low impact but boy I never sweat so much in my life). Did 30 minutes on that, then did upper body with my kettlebells.
ALAS... Tomorrow, my coveted day off. 3 on, 1 off!![]()

My weakness....I have gotten lazy! Currently brainstorming ways to motivate...yet most yet laziness wins...I have gotten too busy and tired and it makes me lazy when I am finally not busy!
Yeah - it's way too easy for that to happen to me, so I guess that is my motivation, lol. I don't want to be in the boat where I'm mad at myself for not working out because it is ALWAYS way too hard to get started again.

Walked for 25 mins today.
It's hard to find time between work, school, and sleep. Might need some motivation. I'm thinking about starting up yoga as well.
Good for you!!!
It's hard to fit it in with busy schedules, but so rewarding!

Cardio 3 days per week - 30 min
Weight lifting 2-3 days per week - 20
Hot yoga - 1-2 days per week - 1 hour (Super duper calorie burner and feels soooo good!!!!)
I use LoseIt website to track everything. I've found it very helpful.

I took an unscheduled day off yesterday, reveling in the quiet since I had company all weekend, lol. So, I had to workout today, my scheduled day off. It is never as satisfying when I take an unscheduled day off, then have to workout the next day when I would have actually been off. Oh well, I had some crazy frustration to run off, so I ran pretty hard for 40 minutes, then did about 20 minutes with my kettlebells. I feel better though.![]()
