I'm not sure this is even for real, but alas here I am posting anyway...

Sera, you are not going to lose weight if you refuse to "stop your tastebuds", and only allow yourself a limited amount of time to exercise. This is why you have the extra bit to lose in the first place.

Read the other posts in Fitness and Nutrition section of WH. You will be able to read EXACTLY what it takes to lose weight and be healthy. It isn't quick and easy, and it requires a lot of dedication and self discipline in exercising regularly and eating healthy.

It happens with all working women that finding time to exercise becomes difficult. What i think is at least 10 minutes meditation will help to reduce all stress.

sera, will you tell us what you do in usually in a day? Breakfast through dinner. This will help to determine where you can make some changes in your diet to acheive your weight loss goals.

Being busy is a challenge to exercising regularly. But challenges are not impossible. If you can find 15 minutes 2 or 3 times a day to exercise you will make progress. Even if you just take that time to drop and do 20 push up and 20 crunches. Or lunges and squats. Or a quick, brisk walk. Just 15 minutes. Can you find that time?

Unfortunately, you can't spot lose fat. If your excess weight goes to your hips and thighs, you will only lose it gradually along with the other fat on your body by exercise and eating right.

If it is difficult getting time or motivation to exercise during the day, what about parking your car ten minutes or so further away and walking that extra distance. If you go by bus, get off at an earlier stop. Standing uses more energy than sitting so try standing and pacing while on the phone. Take internal messages instead of emailing. AND cut out sweet snacks, Try bring fruit or nuts instead. Don't eat takeaways for lunch. Bring a healthy option. Good luck and do check out the posts in some of the other threads to find out more about what you need to do to lose weight.

I disagree, joshua. Depending on the person's unique physical wellness (current weight, health status, any health conditions, etc) and that person's wellness goals, 3 days a week may not be enough. Or it may be too much. Also, one must take into consideration the amount of time spent in the gym for those 3 days (15 minutes, or 2 hours??) and the type(s) of exercises to determine if it is adequate for their wellness goals.

A person needs to exercise to their capabilities starting out, get a good regime going, and push themselves to do more if they are in a good enough health condition to do so. This along with healthy eating habits will get anyone on the right track to losing excess weight.
