    Default Fat below belly button - I NEED HELP!

    I am having trouble getting rid of the fat below my belly button. My body fat percentage is somewhere between 18-21%, which is low to average. My weight is at the very low end of the recommended weight for my height, so much more weight loss would put me underweight. Because of all that, I don't think it's an issue with needing to lose overall body fat. Oh, and I've never had children, so that's not it. It's just this one area that I can't seem to target. I eat pretty well and exercise regularly, doing fast pace walking as my cardio, light arm weights, lunges and squats, and a TON of ab exercises. I am dying for some advice on some exercises to do to target that area or maybe a suggestion to change something in my diet or exercise regimen that may be preventing me from losing that area of fat. I may just need to accept that this is how my body is made, but I'd like to try everything else first! Please offer advice if you have any - thank you!

    stay away from ab exercises and move onto total body workouts that are higher in intensity such as high intensity interval training. you can't really spot reduce, so you want to put your effort to maximize fat loss all over. good luck - it is not an easy area to tackle

    I had exact same problem and was exercising 4-5 times a week but still that tummy bulge wouldn't go. So, after 30years of being fed up with it I had lipo, since then I feel FANTASTIC! Don't regret it one little bit. Been 2 years now and I'm always being complemented on my flat tummy!
