    Question Turbo Fire ??

    Hello all--
I am looking for info about a new exercise video series put out by Beachbody, the same people who put out P90x. I have done the p90x program a couple of times, and loved it, but am looking to change it up.

The Turbo Fire series looks (based on the commercial) fun, but I want to make sure I can do it. Some reviews said the moves take a little to get used to because the instructor moves quick and doesn't really step by step explain where the move is going. Has any one had any personal experiences with this program?? Also, is it guy friendly or is there too much dancing? Thanks for any help

Bought it, tried it, hated it, returned it.

IMO, definitely not guy friendly, hardly girl friendly, lol. I thought it looked fun too, but actually getting it and doing it not so much. The thing is, I'm not even really all that uncoordinated, but man, did I ever feel like a total douche trying to keep up with her. Eventually you just feel that your arms and legs are flailing around so much that you will eventually end up twisting yourself up into a human pretzel.

    Anyways, lol, just my opinion.

Thanks so much! The infomercial definitely sold me, but then I became unsure once on the website. It looked way more dance move-ish, and harder to follow. I just wanted some real opinions of people who tried it. Thank you!!

I have tons of workout DVDs. I workout at home because I hate going to the gym and it's way more convenient at home. Anyway I'm Turbokick certified which is the instructor program founded by Chalene Johnson. Turbofire and Turbojam are based on Turbokick. I bought Turbofire when it came out and 3 weeks later tore the meniscus in my knee doing it. There are tons of people who love it at a fitness forum I go to everyday but my experience was not good.
