losing thigh fats is doesn't seems like a dream it can possible through physical exercises such as walking, running and cycling.
Hello,
I have started going to gym a week back and I burn about 500 calories a day. I could feel instant fat lose on my upper body and little on lower legs but nothing on thighs.
I used to go to gym around 3 years back, worked out for 2 months and noticed the same thing which demotivated me and then I left working out.
My height is 5'4" and weight is 76kgs. I wish to reduce 10-12 kgs and most of my fat is accumulated on thighs and my body structure looks bad due to it. I am extremely worried. Will I ever lose fat on thighs even after burning so much calories + some exercise.
Please suggest

Hi coolswathi. If you browse through other threads, you will see that you can't target fat reduction. Fat comes off as and where it pleases and often the place we most want it off is the last place to reduce. But don't for goodness sakes be discouraged. Stick with your exercises and also eat a good balanced diet and eventually you will see results. It maybe that all the extra fat around your body will start dropping first, but it will evetually come from your thighs. However fat loss happens more in the kitchen than in the gym, although exericise is also important. But watching what you eat is more important. Try checking on some of the Weight Loss threads for tips and encouragement. Good luck and do keep us posted with your progress.
You can definitely lose fat on your thighs. As Snooks mentioned, you can't spot reduce and where you hold the highest amount of fat cells takes the longest to lose, especially in comparison to the other areas. It seems like those might drop off fast. Just keep working hard and really focus on your nutrition. Working out hard is important, but nutrition is huge when it comes to losing fat.
