Sooooo my dear sissy Acerousme has inspired me :P

I'm going to make a goal to lose some access weight that god for bid I do NOT need. lol

I've tried the Kinect from Xbox 360 and I just dont feel a burn,I get more of a dizzy running side to side. lmao

So I decided to break out the Wii that I never use,Set up my profile, and found some of the exercises fun yet give my legs a burn,Such as the free run activity. I ran 10 minutes and my legs were in lots of pain by finish. lol

But just curious if anyone has had any success stories with the Wii Fitness working...I don't want to put all my effort into it and not get any results....

It works if you use it because it gives you a reason to and a focus for movement. For effective cardio workouts, your focus should be on heart rate and keeping it up for the right amount of time, not "burn." Get to googling and learn how to check your heart rate for free via your pulse, then find out what is the right cardio or fat loss heart rate for your age. Use the exercises on the Wii to achieve this rate, then keep it up for 30-45 minutes.
Using this method helps you keep up with your body's growth and improvements and not get stuck in a rut or plateau.

Anything you do to get up and moving is a start in the right direction! Along with gradually increasing you activity levels, the right diet is also extremely important. I think you're on the right track by at least doing something you are enjoying...
    Good Luck!

I had some success with Wii fit when it was hlding my interest. But I hated it for cardio. Running in place felt so awkward... I made me wish I had a treadmill for use with Wii fit!

I agree that a healthy diet is very important, but exercise is equally as important. Even for people who are not on diets or trying to lose weight.

I've used Wii Sports before, just to keep fit and get exercise, and I found that the boxing game on it is great. You're moving all the time playing it which means you're burning calories and exercising all your muscles from head to toe. You really get in to the game too and I found that that helped with keeping me focused on exercise and not focusing on how tired I was getting.

I think once you add some fun to exercise it will keep you interested in doing it. You won't see it as something you have to do, you will want to do it.

I tried the wii fit and found it really boring. I have started using another program called yipfit. Have you guys heard of this, it actually makes custom-made exercise videos for each person. My friend had a sore shoulder and it built her an exercise program that wouldn't bother her shoulder and then it built shoulder rehab videos and she says its feeling a lot better. I am just getting started with it so I will let you know how it works for me.
