I work out on my bedroom floor.
But then I'm a guy and I do things simply..... Why pay for exercise?
120 sits and 120 press ups, then a run in the park... Does fine for me.
I would work out at In Shape City. They actually have really good group excercise classes. Everytime we would work out different body areas. I would love to go to those!!!! I had to stop working out bc I had surgury :-( I cant wait to start up again!!!

I may as well throw away money if I were to pay the $25/month fee for the local gym! The campus one is completely free.
I hate running on tracks/paths; it's hard for me to keep my pace since I'm so impatient. I just want to "get done;" on a treadmill it's more about the time period. It's easy to slow down if I get a little winded.
I don't see it as throwing away money on gym membership, I see it as an investment on my well being and health! People can easily spend $29 on food and clothing in a heartbeat anyway. Why not spend your money on something that will benefit your health?!
My point, is why pay for something you can get for free....
I keep in shape, I go running sometimes, I play a sport or two I enjoy, I work out every day... FOR FREE.
Do you really need a running machine to convince you that you can run further than you can or could you just go for a run in the park?
I'l like to work out at home but I just don't have the space so I belong to a gym. I definitely push myself hard at the gym. I feel weird slacking off when there is someone next to me on the bike going all out and sweating their butt off.
