What gym do you work out at...or do you prefer your home?

I work out at the campus gym. I love treadmills and bikes. My home is my "relaxation place," but sometimes I do cardio there ... I have this dance/workout video from MTV in the '90's that's absolutely embarrassing, but great fun, with good stretches/warm-ups and a nice workout.

I convinced myself that i can workout at home atleast 3 times a week, well that lasted for about 3 weeks or so. I recently started the YMCA, today was just my second day, but i love it. I prefer going to the gym. I do have workout dvds that i sometimes do and i also use my treadmill once in a while at home.

I also think there is more variety at the gym. They have all the fancy equipment and features I don't have in my small 1 bd rental.
Plus, 24 Hour Fitness has free group classes and a pool and sauna I can mix into my routine. It really helps to keep from getting bored when I have a bunch of options. Don't you think?

That is great. I too joined 24 hour fitness in January. This is the first time I have been a member for a gym, and realize how much better it is than working out at home with free weights and cardio. The environment there really helps to stay focused. What progress have you made? Are you using a trainer at all?

I am doing great! I wanted to just maintain and tone more than anything. I was pretty fit already, since I used to work out at home. Just got bored and needed more. At 24 Hour Fitness, they offer a variety that has kept me happy with working out...never bored.

I have never heard of Inshape City Gym, where in California is that? Is that a smaller local gym? I am in Southern California.
