is there even such a thing? anything to increase or add to ones diet that might help? rather than taking Advil/Ibuprophane?

Youre quite correct to be thinking this way...ibuprofen is considered the safest of the non-steriod anti-inflams, however, there have been alarming studies that show a significant loss of blood from people who take the drug over a period of time (4 weeks - entire cup of blood loss!)

The only answer that i can give and i know works for me is 4 teaspoons of olive oil daily...I do lots of long distance running and my tendons flare up as a result, since ive taken olive oil, ive had no pain whatsoever. But, use extra virgin olive oil rather than the refined .

"High intakes of olive oil, vegetables and fruits are significantly associated with lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure."

Try it, it hasnt done me any harm. Let me know how you get on.

Default Food Combining is Most Effective

One of the biggest problems most of us are dealing with is the issue of having to many acidic foods. Our bodies cannot maintain health if the proper ph balance is always being disturbed. Vegetables are so good because they are alkalizing and they keep our bodies cleansed. But I have discovered that food combining also is very important for maintaining a healthy ph balance and maintaining one's health. I have found a simple yet effective food combining program and I am now so relieved to have energy, no pain and the hope of better health for a long time.
    All my best,
