Okay, random question... but is there a sport out there that combines horse riding with running and swimming or cycling? I know there is the modern pentathlon which is riding, running, swimming (great), but then they throw in fencing and shooting... hahha, me fencing... its not going to happen.

    Any information greatly appreciated

Horseriding, running and swimming/cycling??? Are you crazy girl?

Wish I could help but the most exercise I get is hanging the washing out hahahahahahha.

Okay I'm not that lazy but what you're describing sounds like boot camp!

I think I heard of a sport where the horse rides a giant bicycle, with two sets of peddles, whilst you ride the horse. There's usually a river to get through too, which is where the swimming comes in. The hardest thing about it is stopping the horse from dropping the bicycle when it starts swimming.

Why, thank you..that is incredibly informative!

Do you know whether you can get off the horse during the swim and carry the bicycle for it?? As that would be quite useful.

    No, unfortunately you're not allowed.

Although one time someone attached paddles to the bike wheels and attached the horses feet to the peddles so it went across like a boat, but most people these days just tie a rope on the bike and drag it along as it swims.

I forgot to mention though that at the finish line you're attacked by a fencer, so you still have to learn that.
