I'm sure your freinds are concerned that you stay healthy and don't injure yourself. Usually ref-ing isn't too bad but I'm not familar with roller derby. What does the doc of physical therapist say to the idea?

No I know its bc they are concerned for my health bc we have seen some refs get taken out before. Honestly the doc I saw for this was an orthopedic, and he has since moved out of the state.

You do want to care for your back. My mother suffered back pain all her adult life and it can be debilitating. You don't want to sign up for that. Are there any individual sports you have an interest in and maybe keep the skating as a just for fun thing?

I agree here. I can't help to think that you are fishing for compliments.
You have more pictures of yourself posted on here than anyone. If you truly hated the way you look, I know that wouldn't be the case.
Additionally, everyone has given you great ideas, but you have shot them all down. There is something wrong with asking for advice, then not taking any of it, even when good advice is given.
Otherwise, in general, and with EVERYONE, I agree that there is always room for self improvement.
You are the key to your own destiny. If you don't like your skin tone, go tan a bit, or get out in the sun. It'll even it out. If you are overweight, watch what you eat or exercise more.
Bags under your eyes? Quit smoking. I saw a pic of you with a cig in your mouth. Smoking just kills your skin and dehydrates you....it ages you rapidly as well.
Another thing. RE: your family....you'll find soon enough, if you haven't already, that money only buys security. Not happiness.
