Does anyone know if eyelashes actually continue to grow back?

I singed mine lol.. well one anyway, grrrr.

We shed them and we grow them back. I had a co-choir member who used an eyelash curler after applying mascara. Her lashes were still wet when she did it, so half of the line of eyelashes went with the curler - it looked funny. She grew them back - but it took a while.

Yep, they'll come back, as long as you didn't burn/damage the hair folicle! But like cat says, it will take a bit!


Out of complete curiousity, how pray-tell did you singe off your eyelashes?

Oh dear. I lost all my eyelashes and eyebrows and some hair once, in my first experience with an old gas range. I turned on the gas, started looking for matches and then lit the oven. Whooomp. Guess I was lucky it wasn't more serious.

Yes they do grow back.

lol, bending down over the fire place, adding paper in it.

It's sort of half way down, on one side of my right hand side eyelashes, grrr...

I singed by best friends eyelashes and eyebrows off in high school. Hers grew back!

Fake eyelashes are also hot if it's good quality...lol. (While waiting for the real ones to grow back!)

lol, I am fine unless i put mascara, I have long eyelashes, so one eye doesn't look as good . I did see them yesterday haha but I'm not quite that vain yet, maybe botox before that,

I'd suggest some pencil eye-liner, just enough to fill in that little spot.
