    Thumbs down Sweaty hands

Okay so I have a massive problem with sweating....on my HANDS!!

My hands sweat terribly and it gets quite embarrassing at times. Even whilst I'm driving, I hold the stearing wheel and I have to keep letting go to wipe my hands. Everything I touch, it leaves a mark!

I went to the doctor about it and he said to stop it, I would have to have a operation done on my spine...which I dont want to do at all!!

Do any of you think there can be a different method to prevent this?

I got some info for you that i found

"Endoscopic Surgery is procedure that's done with small cameras and small incisions. The incisions most times leave very little scarring and recovery time short with most patients returning home the same day they had the surgery.

A more traditional option is medication. An example is Drysol, which we taken correctly, help dry up glands that cause your palms to sweat. Medications like these don't cure the problem as much as they help to get rid of sweaty palms. Applied medication is a treatment where a cream is rubbed onto your skin, much like a hand or body cream. This option is not that popular as it can be messy and can also cause red blotches on your skin.

Eczema Home Remedies. There a few home remedy treatments out there, like Kava Kava tea, that claim to be a "sure thing cure". These are the least recommended for obvious reasons so beware before using any of these.

Iontopheresis. A newer treatment is known as Iontopheresis. This is a treatment where your hands must be washed in an electrolyte. Thus, in turn, is intended to shock the sweat glands into not producing as much sweat.

Thats a few options to consider hun

    Thank you so much Saint,
I'm so scared of having the Endoscopic surgery, but surprisingly I'm taking this into consideration. I might give the other options a try first before I just jump straight into the surgery though.
Do you know if I could get these treatments from a chemist?

Exzema cream you can get at a chemist maybe try vitamin E cream as well. I dont know if Drysol is sold here in Aus but if you explain to a pharmasist what you're after (it explains what it does above) then they can give you the right stuff.

Try the creams before the serious stuff
