Default My bras make me itch!

I'm quite small as far as my bra size goes, but just to ensure I'm pretty comfy, I put my bra on the very first hook, instead of the second or the third.

But that doesn't help the fact that the band underneath the cups (I seriously don't know how to describe this, but I'm sure you get the idea) make me itch! It always feels like it's just digging into my skin after awhile and I can't stop scratching it. It's embarrassing if I'm in the workplace and I have to scratch, so I just go the stock room and try to scratch on the 'down low' haha. I wonder if it's the elastic, but could anyone offer me some advice as to how to deal with this?

    Thank you! :]

    Try a different laundry product.

It's not the laundry detergent I use, because if that were the case, all of my clothes would be making me itch. I have had that experience before, so I know it's not that.

I think it's the elastic. I just don't know what to do about it so that I won't itch so much though. Even when I wear bras that don't hook in the back, I get that same problem.

Have you tried ones with different fabrics or a design that doesn't have such a stiff elastic band underneath?

Could the bra be slipping around because it is too loose?

Hm. I guess that would make sense to try a different fabric. But what sort of fabric?

I usually just buy what I can afford. But I'm not so sure if the price really makes a difference when it comes to buying a good bra. Unless I'm wrong about that...

I don't think it's too loose. When I put it on the second or even third hooks, that just makes it worse. I know it's too tight when I do that, so I just put it on the first hook.

I found some nice soft ones at Macys. Warners brand. They are made of nylon, with no underwire.

Are you absolutely positive that you're wearing the right bra size? Just because you can hook your bra on the first set of hooks doesn't mean it's the right size.

Your cup size could be off. Your strap lengths could be off..

All these things can lead to the bra digging in, being uncomfortable, and maybe causing you to itch.

If you can, go to a lingerie store and get sized by one of the professionals there. These people are trained to take your measurements and determine your exact bra size. That will at least rule out of it is the fit or not that's causing your discomfort!

Maybe even if You Think Your Size is Small, a New Bigger One can Make You Feel Much Better. It is Miserable when the Bra is Tight and the Underwire is Digging in, I know

It happened to me 3 years ago. I bought a cheap bra and the irritation was caused by its nylon fabric. I threw up it and began to wear satin and cotton bras.
