    Default Little help please....

I've had a bit of a rough time these last few months (both my dogs had to be put down, I became very ill, then had a lot of side effects to the medication.... don't wanna go into all of it but there's been a lot of stuff going on!)

I've just been really miserable these last few months and now that everything is starting to pick up, I feel like I could maybe do something myself to help look at things/me differently.

I'm not feeling particularly confident and I'm looking to get some sort of style tips or something! I don't really know.

I think I just want to try something new and don't really know where to start.

I think I don't feel like I've got any kind of "style" as such - I just kind of stick to skinny jeans most of the time. If going out I do love dresses but I don't go out very often.

It feels a bit weird not even knowing what sort of style I want. I've been looking for some new clothes lately but I don't have a lot to spend so want to get it right straight away - but I just don't know what to get.

Maybe a pro stylist is the only way to help me, but as I haven't got a lot of £ I thought maybe I'd just try advice from the public first?!

Ok so here's what I'm like:

    I'm short at 5'2"
Skinny, UK 6 but sometimes 8 depending on the shop!
Fluffy big curly hair - used to be major blonde but think it's going more of a mousey colour now
    Very pale skin

    Few pics:
Please excuse how miserable I look!!

    and again

    and me with straight hair

So.... bit of a long shot, but does anyone have any sort of idea as to what I can do to feel a bit refreshed and maybe create a different look?

I like all sorts and in a way this is a problem... I like dark rocky stuff, boho style and light coloured fluffy things!! I have a bit of a personality mix!

So yeah I'd like to do something a bit new but not sure what direction to go in or what suits me best. Open to ideas!

    Hope someone can help!

Maybe no one has responded b/c you're beautiful just the way you are!

This kind seems like a "singles ad" - or a "waaa.... I'm pretty, and I don't realize it, so affirm it for me" rant. You're fine just the way you are. If you don't see it, seek counseling.

No not at all - I'm just looking at re-doing a lot of things and one of them is my wardrobe. Feeling bored with what I've got but just not sure what else to do either. Was hoping someone might have some suggestions or ideas of what I could do in types of clothes to look at/certain colours...anything really. Never particularly cared for fashion before so I don't really know what goes with what or anything. Been hoping someone with good fashion sense could give me some ideas but I guess I've not been lucky. Ah well.

I love your hair curly, but because you have some dark streaks in the centre, try a few 1 inch dark streaks for the length in sections I think that would look great or else you can colour the underneath parts of your hair dark and leave the rest blonde.

Tight jeans and boots are still in, but you have big blue eyes In your pictures you've gone for pinks and black, so why not try colours like electric blue, emerald. Bright colours that will highlight your eyes.

Do you also have charity shops in UK? I have a ball at Goodwill Stores, finding really exciting clothes that are unique, different, so maybe have a look around as well, there.

Also Ezi Buy on line has some great European clothes and often have sales , google them

But ultimately I think your not bringing out the colour of your eyes into your clothes and are playing it safe instead...

You have a great face, great body so you can wear alot of things even if you are only 5 foot 2, shortish skirts with long boots for instance will look great as well ...

Firstly i just want to say, when i read your post i did not think this was any sort of 'singles ad' or attention seeking. I thought it was a genuine question hence the reason im replying.

I agree with Chandlers Wish. People say your eyes are the window to your soul. One bit of advice i can give is to try wearing brighter makeup, browns and darks dont tend to do alot for people with blue eyes - it makes me look very tired and ghostly white. Try a light green shadow, or maybe a nice shade of lilac. It doesnt have to be bright - just a pastel sort of colour. You can still wear eyeliner.
You have a good figure so just try a few different things you havent got much to lose. Just stay clear of really dark colours. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR BOOTS by the way!!!!!
