Default What to do about oily skin?

My skin gets really oily a lot. I've tried different cleansers, but all they do is make my face feel really dry and cause it to get oilier. Any tips?

You didn't mention if you were using anything else on your skin like moisterizers or make-up?

Do you use an oil-free face wash?
Neutrogena has a very good one. It doesn't "dry-out" your skin. Also, find an oil-free moisturizer so that your skin doesn't feel "dry" after your wash it.

If the skin becomes dry, it will produce even more oil to compensate for the dryness.
    That defeats your purpose.

    I love Biore! <333

I use the pore minimizing stuff whenever I shower. My skin glows now. ^^ Plus, I used to have a rough nose and (you know those thingies that you have to rip off your nose to get the blackheads and other nasty stuff off) yeah, those things make my nose smooth. ^_^

My mom used to use Netrogena because she has a very oily nose... Like, she can push her nose up and thick oil that looks like the fat that forms in food overnight in the fridge. It used to calm it down, but now it's even worse. Use some stuff like that. ^_^

    DANG!!!!

Ok, I know what you mean though.
Gotta wash the oily skin at least twice a day to help cut down on that.

I also thought that it was cool when her nose was spewing out greasy junk, but now it's like...Mom, fix that ****. Like, seriously.

She used to use stuff on her face, but she's been slowly down now. Old with age. Lawl!

How old is your mom? And what's that stuff she was using on her face?

Sounds like she needs a new facial-cleansing regimen.

My mom is 58. She used to use Neutrogena on her face before I was born...After that, she stopped.
