I dieted last year and one of the side effects of the diet was that my hair fell out in large amounts. When I asked my doctor about this he suspected that I was not getting the proper nutrition, and that caused the hair loss. Upon investigation, we found that I actually had to little healthy fats in my diet and that caused the hair loss. I started finding ways to work olive oil into my diet and the hair loss stopped.

Someone told me that using conditioner daily was making my hair break- so I quit using it for a year. I would do weekly treatments to it and I switched to argan oil for shine and condition. It made a big difference. If you are using a heavy conditioner, try leaving it for a few days to see if there is a difference. If not, maybe you need to ask a doctor. It could be what you are eating or not eating, or something else.

I suffered from hair loss in my time due to anemia and lack of vitamin C. As stated here; try to get some Vit C rich foods in, such as oranges. I try to fit in a glass of orange juice in a day and add some carrots into your meals. There are some more like this, just take a look up for food rich in Vit C.

There are so many reasons for hair falling, i think people should not change their hair oil and shampoo without permission of hair export.

i have had my hair fall out for hte last 7 years
each year it gets worse and worse.
seriosuly, its almost scarey at this point
i got everything tested adn they said everything was within normal range. Though each persons normal is differnt, and since i'm almost midget sized i thought it probably could be something here.
    i still dont know.
The sad thing is that i tried this "neelibringadi" oil, from an indian naturopath, and it actually worked. I'm not kidding. I went from loosing 170+ hairs a day to just 20. I counted both times. I was shocked!!!

That worked for only 3 and a half months, even a month after i forgot to use it, when i went back to it...it stopped working.

So i'm sorry, but maybe that might be your answer?

Hair falling out can definately be a sign of anemia, you should probably get a blood test.
