Default Has anyone gone in and had an official bra measurement done?

If you haven't, I highly suggest doing so. It is a very enlightening experience.

For the last several months I have had the hardest time finding a bra that fits well and looks decent. No matter how many I tried, they never really felt right. In the last few years, I have lost a lot of weight, then in September I had a breast lift, so my upper body has changed drastically in the last few years. What I once knew, I no longer do, lol.

Well, our office closed early today and on the way home I said screw it and stopped by Victoria's Secret (I also had other intentions on buying something to surprise the hubs). Anyways, I've been buying a 36C. Before my weight loss, I had big boobies after my weight loss they shrunk something fierce, then with the lift I just figured a C made sense. I was in for a surprise. I actually measured at a 34D. Talk about a shock and let me tell you, once you try on a bra that actually FITS the way it is supposed to, you will know just how incorrectly you were sizing yourself. I read something that about 80% of women wear the wrong bra size and that the most common mistake is we THINK our cup size is a size or two smaller than it actually is.

Anyways, moral to the story, go in and get sized, you will be surprised and you probably have bigger boobs than you think! Don't waste your money (like I did) on the wrong size because now I have a dresser drawer full of bras that are uncomfortable!

    Friendship Prayer
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the crotch of the person who screws up your day and may their arms be too short to scratch.
    Amen

Whoever said anything was possible obviously never tried slamming a revolving door.

Totally agree with LanaBear. Suffered for years with underwires digging into my boobs. Finally got measured and AMAZING....I was wearing the wrong size. Now I'm as comfortable as you can be with a bra on and I think my new size does nice things for my figure.
