Default Is this a gray hair?

    Hello,

I have a couple strands of hair in the front (Where your bangs would be) and one in particular, that is super shiney and almost looks golden. I do dye my hair occassionally, just a dark brown (that's what I am naturally) just to give it more shine, and I usually stick with Neutrals and not golden hues, but do you think it's possible it is just a golden hue coming out once the dye fades a little, or is this really a gray hair?

    What are your opinions?

    Sincerely,

About to have a breakdown if this is a gray, lol jk

It doesn't really sound like a grey hair. When you dye your hair, especially if you use semi-perm or wash out kind it can cause fading. And if your hair is brown with any golden tones to it, when it fades it can cause a bit of a "brassy" look. I've had a few lighter strands before that I too thought might be grey but upon further investigation I decided they were just lighter. Chill out woman... haha

Hehe...I've told myself that I am not allowed to have a gray hair until I have a child! lol (at least then I have something to blame the gray hairs on!) :P

It's doubtful that it is a grey hair.

But I don't know if it's a myth, but it's said that if it is a grey, DO NOT pull it out, because 9 more will grow back in it's place

It doesn't sound like it's a gray hair. It's probably just the sun or something which has made that one strand slightly lighter or something.

yeah, definitely not a gey hair...You'll know if it is. Grays even feel different. Way coarser, and they stand out. They almost look white. I pop a new gray every day. yay stress.

...I havent heard that myth..**puts tweezers down**...If its true, Im going to be totally grey in about 20 years. lol
