What is True beauty?
Is it that that is asthetically pleasing to the eye? Has anyone noticed that you might not think someone looks paticularly 'beautiful' as first glance but then after talking to them for a while their manerisms and personality seem to exentuate their beauty? The opposite can also be the case too. Someone who looks beautiful can seem less so if they exhibit unattractive personality traits. Is beauty truely in the eyes of the beholder or are some looks beautiful across the board? What are your thoughts? tt |

Good question...
Personally, i look for "inner beauty" the person whom touches my soul, with laughter, intelligence, manerisms, respect, cheeky. But, it's hard.. Because off course you want to be "attracted" to them before you communicate. I have met good looking guys that are full of it, not so attractive guys that have a great personality but still something hasn't jelled. But if i get to know someone inside, all of a sudden i see an inner beauty and all of a sudden i find their eyes attractive, then i may feel that other sides are for-instance and i think once you "fall" you think their whole being is attractive. But "lot's of buts hey", how many people will give that chance. Ah, na, he's not tall enough, doesn't attract me as in pleasing enough to the eye, and "walk on by". Often i look at Famous people and they don't look like Brad and Angelina yet they have been married for years and years. Find the soul connection and they are beautiful. CW

I think on the initial, humans are basically visual creatures, when it comes to romantic/sexual relationships...I love your take on it CW and really couldn’t have said it better myself, its true...and I would be dishonest to say that I don’t need to feel physically attracted to someone, I do, but physical attraction is a complex and chemical thing.
I believe people get more beautiful, the more whole they become. I have also looked at some people that I thought plain and they either laughed or made some funny remark and it was like a light went on. An inner sparkle that truly made them beautiful. I was talking to a co-worker yesterday, She is 70 (a very young 70) and she was talking about politics and some of the things she did while living in Alaska. I wouldn’t call her pretty, but as she spoke, her blue eyes took on a light and she laughed, she sparkled...beautiful.

Do you think it's easier for women to find inner beauty in men than men with women?

I think its across the board when you are looking at a picture, and still would be a matter of opinions but then, when it comes to real life it's the beholder in the sense of what others have said, their manerisms, actions, facial expressions, attitudes, etc, etc.
