My married daughter (34) just found out she has scabies.....ick.....she has to put some medicine (cream) over her whole body to kill the bugs. Her doctor did not recommend or even mention that the whole family should be treated too.

My daughter has been miserable with a horrible itch and she is hoping the meds will do the job and kill off those nasty bugs. I'm concerned for her family and wondering if the doctor should have prescibed the same treatment for the whole family. I've been looking on the internet and most information indicates that the whole family should be treated....any one out there experienced with this problem?????
