    Default Hep A and B vaccines question

    Has anyone here been vaccinated for Hep A and/or Hep B? I'm in the middle of my three shots. I got the 1st Hep A and I had a weird period two weeks later that was short and then I bled for one day a week later.
    Then I got my 1st hep B shot and now my period is a week late.

    Is this normal or should I be concerned?

    You should not receive this vaccine if you are allergic to yeast or neomycin (Mycafradin, Neo-Fradin, Neo-Tab), or if you have ever had a life-threatening allergic reaction to any vaccine containing hepatitis A or hepatitis B.
    Before receiving this vaccine, tell the doctor if you have:
    • multiple sclerosis;
    • a bleeding or blood clotting disorder such as hemophilia or easy bruising;
    • a history of seizures;
    • an allergy to latex rubber;
    • a weak immune system caused by disease, bone marrow transplant, or by using certain medicines or receiving cancer treatments; or
    • if you are taking a blood thinner such as warfarin (Coumadin).
    You can still receive a vaccine if you have a cold or fever. In the case of a more severe illness with a fever or any type of infection, wait until you get better before receiving this vaccine.

    The above is what I found, after searching quite a few "symptons" and can't see anything where it relates to bleeding.

    But, all foreign things in our body can take us out of wack.

    It did state, ANY unusual symptons consult your Doctor, may therefore, be worth while to do exactly that.

    It was too long ago that I had shots for travelling but I do recall that it didn't effect my cycle.

    Maybe your just stressed madam, or pregnant ahhhhhhh.

    BAH! Don't say that!

    I did some more digging and I found one site that said if you have irregular period after a hep A vaccine that you should call the doc. So I think I'll take a pregnancy test tomorrow, just to be sure, and then call the clinic where I got the shot.
