So a few weeks ago I was bending down to pick up my purse, and I got this horrible pain in my lower back. I fell to the floor because it was so horrible. It took everything in me to get up off the floor, and it was the worst pain I've ever felt. Well since then, my leg has had issues. My back doesn't hurt anymore, but my left leg does sometimes, especially if I sit for too long. Also, that side of my bottom really hurts sometimes, too. My foot is pretty much always numb and it tingles when touched. Also when I walk, it feels like I am stepping on something, like a ball, on the bottom of my foot, but there is nothing there. I can't feel any bumps or anything, it's weird. Anyone else ever experience anything like this?

Sounds to me like you've pulled something between you're bottom and thigh, but i'm no doctor.

The weird feeling in your foot could be a reflection of the pain elsewhere, i've been curing my headaches recently by having reflexology...there is a specific area in your foot that represents each body part.

Head to a doctor or a specialist because you might find that you get pain elsewhere from overcompensating the pain that youre having now.

Sounds like you pinched the sciatic nerve. Sciatica is no fun but a good chiropractor can get you back in shape. I had sciatica last year and no problems since I completed treatment

    Yep... may have even torn/ruptured a disk - L5..

That is what happened to me, but first i had right shoulder pain, couldn't move it even to blowdry my hair or worse, get out of bed, i was in tears for 9 months, couldn't sleep.

The leg showed up around 6 month and couldn't walk ahh.

haha. So, point being with the leg, it was identical as to your explaination.

Starts with the back, moves to the leg.

Actually, a Physio helped me, not Chiropractor, initially stretching, strenghtening, Polites ball, not just cracking and moving, but nurtering and mavouvering... That was for me and a couple others I know.

But if you don't get it treated in first 3 months ( like i couldn't) then you have a disability, week muscles for me, leg is ok to a big degree, (shoulder) plays up and sometimes, causes me real pain.

Massage, solves too.. soft and releasing the muscles.

Do go get it seen to and explain what you have here... Don't wait 12 weeks, like I did, okay? Well my Doctor wouldn't refer me, all to do with Government and Money at that time, 1999.

I an offer heaps of advice for relief too but you need to start the process first, I can cope 90%... unless i help cause it, overload...

Thank you everyone. I am going to get this checked out once I have health insurance again, which should be after the holidays (husband was laid off temporarily). I appreciate the responses, as I was starting to get pretty worried about it.
