Like everything in life that's hard to achieve
you must believe!
One of the toughest things to endure in my life. About 5 months for me but only about one away from going back. Please hang on, then you'll never have to say again, it's day three, quitting smoking and it sucks.
My mom smoked since she was a teenager and quit cold turkey in her 60's. Dont know how she did it but that is one of the things she is most proud of.
I smokes for 20 years and tried many times to give up eventually I joined a gym and I had to give up or die with the exercise.
I'm still trying to talk myself into quitting. Why is it never a good time.. always later, later..
Well, good luck and congrats on getting even this far!
Keep up the good work! I don't smoke, but I know people who are trying to and they always complain about how hard it is, so I sort of know. Hang in there and you'll do great!
I'm trying to quit now. It's horrible. I have another post that I started about it. I had really bad acne in high school and got rid of it but now that I've quit smoking it's coming back - my face is breaking out everywhere - I hate this and can't stand it.
quiting smoking is really hard..i smoked from the time i was 13 til i was 23...10 years..for six months i craved so bad i cried almost all the time...it was really hard but if you can make it for 7 days u will feel much better and it gets dramatically easier..and you will breathe so much better in as little as a month and that to me made it worth the struggle..
Cold turkey is best. I have to admit I quit for several yearsm started again when I got really stressed and then went through a series of quiting for a few weeks, starting again for a week or two. Finally I got exasperated with myself and just threw then away, saying I'm done with this for good. That was more than 20 years ago.
