I wanted to share my story with everyone. I used to have many breakouts of strange itchy bumps around my mouth, jawlines and chin which my doctor said the virus could not be cured. These "bumps" would get worse by heat, stress and other things. I went vegan and they seemed to get worse for a few months. I could nolonger cover it up with my makeup.

I started a few months ago to try a healing meditation daily, closing my eyes and seeing the sickness leaving my body. I know it sounds weird but 3 months later they had gone away! And I am convinced they will not come back!

In conclusion, I believe that your body can do wonders if you apply yourself mentally. And a healthy diet can also aid healing multiple sexual disfunctions, so whatever your problem is, don't give up! Theres always hope.

Anybody have some stories they can share about the mind healing (sexual problems)?

That's how I was taught as a child to cure headaches. I still do it today. 9 times out of 10 it works.

You may well be right, I do believe in the power of the mind. However, viruses can stay resting in the body for years and diet and stress can affect them. Pretty much anything that creates a skin reaction is termed a herpes virus. Having had shingles twice, the 'adult' form of the the chicken pox virus, I did reasearch.

Viruses can only reproduce within your cells and need certain amino acids to do so. L-Arginine creates an environment favorable to virus replication. We need it help our bodies remove urea and our bodies produce it for us, foods such as some nuts, chocolate, chicken and some other foods, Not enough L-arginine cause wounds to heal poorly, hair loss and skin rashes. But when dealing with a virus it will facilitate it's ability to reproduce.

Another amino acid, L-Lysine, inhibits the virus's abiltity to reproduce. L-lysine has many benefits but excesses can cause problems including renal failure in extreme cases, so you do have to watch dosage. It is naturally found in protien rich foods but is readily available in tablets. You will some many sources that say you need over 1000mg a day to fight herpes but I used the formula of 100 mg per every 30 lbs body weight and that is effective for my shingles prevention when I feel that tell tale prickling. L-lysine is widely recongnized for the treatment of cold sores (herpes on the mouth area) so you can easily research this.
