    Default Pain in the side near the hip bone??

    Okay so i have a question, about 2 months ago my side started hurting when i would turn a certain way or walk..ect not when i would touch it its more in the bone or joint im not sure i had figured i was just sleeping in a strange way or something but after a while longer it got worse and now it realy hurts, someone told me it could be a stress fracture and to go get exrays others said it could be just doing to much stuff and not to worrie just take it easy i dont have insurance yet so i no if i go to the doctors they will want exrays im not sure if i should go or not but its ben 2 months and it is not getting better any ideas? its located on the right side if i was to put my hands on my hip that is the location right on that bone but it dont hurt if i lift that leg and twist my foot around its not like the actualy joint im so confused but thank-you for your help

    That's really hard to say. You could have bruised the bone?

    Sounds like it could be a stress fracture. If it has gone on for 2 monhts, I would get it looked at. Don't want to make it worse than it is.

    I realize this post is kind of old, but have you looked into any sort of state or government health care? If not, you should look into it. My husband and I didn't qualify for Medicare, but we qualified for a state/county health plan. It doesn't cover ER/hospital visits, but it covers dr visits, specialists, medications.... You gotta do what you can to take care of yourself!
