Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum. I just wasn't sure were to put this.

First off let me share a little piece of info. I currently live out of my car and have no income what so ever and no money. Also, I have no health insurance what so ever either.

So here's the situation/problem/whatever that I was looking to get advice or whatever on.

I'm a 22year old female. As of recently I have been craving milk and strawberry milk. Well I don't know if you call it a crave or more of a I want it now and I can't stop wanting it type of thing. Anyway, normally I don't drink milk because I can't stand the taste of it no matter what kind it is. Also, I don't drink milk because I am some what lactose and I say that loosely.

Another thing is I like can corn and I'm sure others do too, but the other day I went to the store and I was there manly just to get laundry soap with what money I had at the time. So I could find a place to wash clothes. Anyho while I was there right before I left I had to buy 4 cheap cans or corn because I was craving can corn to just eat out of the can cold or hot and it didn't matter as long as it was can corn. A little strange? I don't know. I also have a grilled chicken craving. Where I'll go get a grilled chicken sandwich eat some of it and then not want it. So I'll save it and no the same thing with it the next day.

Also another thing is. I've been more tired the past few day's but haven't been able to sleep much at night. Tuesday night I only got about 3 maybe 4 hours of sleep total for that night.

I also have a little lower back pain. It's not like major pain but it's enough that if someone ask do I have have some form of back pain I'll say, "yes I have a little lower back pain." It's nothing that I wouldn't just go to the doctor for or skip any work. It's like on my right side a little by my hips.

Also, I've been told I'm more irritable then normally and a lot more crabby. One other thing is, on my right leg I have cut that's taking a longer time to heal then should.

Last month I had a not normally period. It was like 4days long and a lot lighter then it normally is.

Could this be a sign of type 11 diabetes or do you think it's something else? If you think it's something else can you please be willing to share with me? I'm looking for any advice I can get.

Anyway, thanks to anyone who happens to reply to this.

Does it sound like pregnancy or something else? I've heard from one friend that she thinks it could be pregnancy, but she isn't for sure because she's never had kids herself.

It does appear predominately that what you are craving is "sweet"

Your back pain is probably from the position in which you sleep in the car and naturally that as well as IBS will cause you to be more irritable.

If not diabetes, is it possible you are pregnant I appreciate you had light bleeding but is it a possibility?

It is VERY likely that you may be pregnant. The diabetic symptoms could be a sign that your body is changing for the presance of the baby. I have four children and I remember having simular symptoms with my first baby. I even had my period for six months straight and I didn't start showing until I was almost seven months. Your cravings for things that you've never liked before is also a very strong sign that you may be pregnant wheither it's sweets or not for you to want and like something that you've never liked or even wanted before is very common for pregnant women as well. Either way, it sounds like you need to be seen by a doctor. I noticed that you said you have no health insurance, you could go to your local department of social services to apply for medical assistance, they can't deny you because you are homeless. In the mean time while you wait for approval try to find your local free clinic. I dont know where you live but each state is supposed to have available resourses to people in need, in baltimore we have the Maryland relay hotline which is connected with the united way and First Call For Help. They are like a referral service by telephone in some cases the number could be free. If you're interested with getting help with your issues, these could be some helpful resources. I have been down the same road before and I can tell you that things can get better for you if you want it to, you're young and it sounds like you don't have any kids yet. So get you some help now before it's too late and somthing bad happens to you or that baby. I will pray for you and you keep you faith, it will get better.

Iron deficiency anemia can make you crave some strange things and also feel very tired, left untreated can be quite dangerous. Could be that you were just have food cravings we all get those from time to time. When you say can corn, makes me wonder if you were craving the can taste... do you ever crave dirt, burned stuff, rocks that sort of flavor?

Make an appointment to discuss your feeling tired, mention your food cravings and any all symptoms, they can test you for dibetes and anemia and anything else they think could be a cause including pregnancy (if you are active) just put your mind at ease by seeing a doctor.
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.

Oh thank you so much for your advice. Today so far all I'm doing is calling and trying to find free clinics that offer free pregnancy test. I'd really like i'd to know. I don't want to harm me or the baby if I am pregnant. So again thank you for the advice.

You can also go a Dollar Store and get one for $1 if needed.
