Default Small bump on roof of mouth

A few days ago I noticed a bump on the right side of my hard palate, just a little off to the right of the center. It doesn't really feel like anything more than a bump. It's not a blister; nothing comes out if I scratch it. It seems to recede when I scratch it (then comes back after about a minute or so), and it isn't there in the morning. Only about ten minutes after I wake up does it start forming again.

I am 21 years old; I don't drink, or smoke. I just came back to school after a summer, where I led a very sedintary lifestyle, and did not eat much.

Is it just something that developed from stress? I don't think it is a tumor, as that wouldn't recede when being touched or during sleep, am I correct? Please help me with this.

I don't want to really go to the Student Health Center; any pain or symptom coming from a female student is ALWAYS a pregnancy sign, and they just tell you to take advil and give you a pregnancy test.

I've had a couple of these, I'm not positive what they are, but they go away. A long time ago I had a bump on the roof of my mouth that started out normal, but then got bigger and filled with pus. I had at least two others that were just bumps that went away. I was never sure what caused them, but they go away and don't seem serious.

I've had this a few times, the first time it bubbled up a lot and was painful. I went to the dentist (since it was a mouth issue) they checked it out and told me that it was some kind of buildup from having a small cold. Now I get them every now and then when I have a cold or right before or following a cold. They always go away though. I would have it checked out just as a precaution but IMO it's nothing to be too worried about.
