Just these past three weeks I’ve noticed excessive hair growth in a Hirsutism pattern – lots of light, soft hair on the face, mostly jaw and neck, but some turning darker; the same on my chest, belly and lower back. I’ve noticed the hair on my arms has become thicker and there are even hairs on my hands now, too.

I did some preliminary research online. I don’t know if I have PCOS, I don’t think so. Possibly my adrenal glands are messed up – I’m obviously out of balance somewhere, this should not be happening.

But this all had be suffocating in stress. I cried myself to sleep three nights running. I can’t focus. I don’t know what to do!

I’m looking into getting some blood tests. I can get my hormones back in balance, but will this hair growth continue to escalate? It seems like it all appeared in less than a couple months. And from what I read, even after I’m in balance, the hair follicles will not stop producing dark terminal hairs.

I’m so scared, I feel like my life just crashed and burnt. I don’t have any one to talk to about this, I think I’m falling apart.

Does anyone have information, first hand experience, reliable medical advice? Please, I need something.
