This is a bit embarrassing, but has gotten to the point where I need to ask. I have had a hysterectomy about 5 years ago. Ever since when I have a bowel movement I actually have to press on the area between the vagina and anus so that the BM doesn't build up in the middle and actually exits. In addition, when I have an orgasm, I have on occasion had such strong bowel spasms that it wakes me up from a sound sleep and puts me in extreme pain on the toilet. The only way to relieve the pain is for me to 'finger stimulate' my bowels. I push so hard that instead of a normal bowel movement I have a thick tar-like discharge usually covered in blood. The only time this doesn't happen is if we have anal sex - then nothing happens. I don't enjoy anal sex so I really don't want that to be the answer. The only time there is blood in my stool is when I have to push to this level. It obviously has put me in a mood to never have sex again.
Any ideas would be appreciated. I am not sure if this is 2 different issues or related. How do you tell your doctor that with out dying from embarrassment? This is the first time I've admitted this to anyone. Thanks for listening. |

hmmm..do you have regular BM? if not, maybe you don't have enough fiber in your diet so stool builds up and can't dispose properly.
i think talking to your doctor (yes it may be embarrassing but it's better than having extreme bowel pain--and take it from me who is in a similar condition--there are alot more things to be embarrassed about). this is definitely not normal and should be checked out immediately. |

Have you talked with your doctor about this? It sounds like a combination of problems, weak muscles are probably part of it. Maybe meet with a trainer and put together a program that will strengthen your abs and help constitpation? Look into getting a kegel master or some vaginal weights to help stregthen your pcs.
