Symptoms: Itching, burning, irritation, around the front outside of my vagina. Now this has been going on for about 2 years. Yes, 2 whole years. I've seen my gyno, and I've seen a skin a specialist and both are convinced that it's just an allergic reaction. Now, I have used the same detergent, shampoo, body wash etc.,etc ever since before I've started having this problem. I have changed to different things (doctors orders) and no results. It didn't get better or worse. It's the worst when I'm sweating, usually after I'm done running or after sex and I have to take a bath instantly or it will drive me nuts. It's embarrassing because it's gotten to a point where I end up scratching myself in front of my man.
I've tried numerous things: different detergent, different underwear, not shaving for months (my man did not like that; lol), and powders. The only thing that seems to make it feel any better is baby powder but it only temporary and sitting with my legs crossed isn't an option for me anymore. It's really starting to ruin my personal life. It's gotten so bad to where I've woke up in the middle of the night itching so bad that I have run to the bathroom and sit on the floor just scratching myself until I bleed. There small scars from the all the scratching that I've done. I want it to end and I want it to end now before I lose my mind.

Have you ever thought that maybe you are allergic to cotton? I would do an allergy test seriously! then I would go to another gyno because something isn't rite sista...just not right! i'm sooooooooo sorry! Then I would use vaseline ALL the time! I would also bath in lavendar and oatmeal as much as possible. Sounds like eczema accept I don't know if you can have that down there.
