Maybe take a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side but have you considered that the discomfort may be caused from the IUD?
These past few days, I've been feeling vaguely nauseous pretty much 24/7. A few days ago, out of the blue during dinner, I got a massive stomach ache that went away after an hour or so, but since then I've had minor discomfort in my stomach and nausea nonstop.
It's not bad enough for me to call in sick (though I kind of wish it was, I need a break), but it's really confusing me. My diet hasn't changed at all, and neither have any other of my habits.
I considered that it could be from something I ate, like minor food poisoning, but I would have expected to have stronger symptoms.
I also considered I might be pregnant, but... I have the IUD and had an extremely "healthy" period about 2-3 weeks ago.
Any ideas??![]()

Lifes not about how many breaths you take its about how many moments take your breath away!
Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it you will land among the stars
Simple fix, take a Gravol.

Try a pregnancy test to be sure.sometime when I'm stressed my stomach gets weak for days on end.try putting a heating pad on your stomach for a while after work.that usually helps me.
Ooh what's a Gravol?
I've had stomach aches from the IUD, which feel more like cramps, but these are just regular stomach aches.
I've developed other problems like a throat infection and cold sore...... Perhaps I'm just overall ILL and need bed rest...?!
Gravol is an over the counter anti-nausea drug, it also helps with dizziness. It is a good thing to take when you're stomach just is not feeling right.

Ahhh, thanks! Will try to get that here, though I'm currently in Korea, could be difficult...
Just searched my symptoms online and looks like it could be flu. I'm not gonna lie, part of me hopes that it's swine flu so that my employers can feel guilty about not letting me leave early to go to the doctor!!(They're very freaked out about swine flu here, would serve them right, ha!)
When your body is completely run down you will get everything that is available in the Universe !!!!!
24/7 sounds like your correct to me, a flu of sorts, pregnancy is usually not 24/7 rather mornings and maybe later in the day, not the whole day..
What you described I had for 5 weeks, or 6, can't recall it was that bad, having travelled to America in March, but I also had fever bad, which you don't have so quit worrying about Swine flu![]()
I do think though with all you are feeling that your body is run down, take it easy, eat right, rest alot and drink lots of water.

Thanks CW, I do think you're right, it's probably just my accumulated fatigue causing all this! Went to the doctor and he thinks it's some virus, gave me antibiotics which quite frankly haven't helped... I think the best cure at this point would be a vacation.
If you do have an infection the antivirals it will not show any sort of effect until a few days later, and even then you MUST finish the entire prescription. If you stop taking the pills thinking that you are better and you still have a bit of a viral infection you can cause the virus to become resistant since not all will be killed. Just get some rest and take it easy. That alone will help.Went to the doctor and he thinks it's some virus, gave me antibiotics which quite frankly haven't helped...
