People at my work require me to go in once a year, I think it's a good idea if it's not too inconvenient... But really, I don't think they could detect something in a general physical that YOU couldn't detect on your own, way beforehand.
So, I'm like clock work, around April 10th every year, I go to my Gyno for my pap and lady stuff physical, but I've never gone in for a general health physical. Well, I did for sports in HS, but not since.
I've been thinking about this lately, but does anybody here go in for one? Is there a point of going in for one? I've never had a irregular pap or anything. I was just curious.

I have one every 2 years, I had type (2) cervical cancer, bordering (3), had it burn't off, so I went once a year, then they made it every 2yrs, and it's been 7 years since![]()

It's a good idea to get a full physical with blood panels and hormones and all, maybe every five years just so you have a base line. Then if you do have a health problem there is a record of what healthy you should be at. Of course this is only practical if you have insurance.
