Okay, I have been getting a lot of sleep lately, and I think it may be becoming a problem. For the past few days, I have slept at least ten hours, getting at the most twelve hours of sleep. And when I wake up, it takes hours to actually get out of bed. I'll even lay there and go back to sleep! Could anyone please give me some advice on what is going on with me? I don't feel stressed really. I'm not all that tired, and I have been working less hours than I used to.
Sometimes I lay under the moon, and thank God I'm breathin'. And I pray, "Don't take me soon, 'cause I am here for reason..."

A sense of there is "no reason" to get up, nothing really to do when you do, coupled with possibly that you won't see the man and so possibly slightly depressed over all of that.

Look around you and see what things you've been meaning to do, and make it a, I want to do, be it change your wardrobe around so you can grab what you want, your cupboards.

It's winter, it's freezing and so you don't want to go outside to do much, so look around the home for things to do, set your alarm and make yourself get up after 8hrs sleep.

I think your just bored and a bit depressed and have nothing to do, so laying around makes it easier to get through that day quicker.

I have this problem every now and then...mostly in winter (go figure)

What I do is set my alarm to wake me in 8 hours. I FORCE myself to sit up, stand and step outside (even peek my head out for a min) and get some fresh air. Then I wash my face/ have a shower. THEN I have a coffee/ tea, read the magazine and have breakfast. By that time I am awake and can't go back to sleep.

Try to make plans weeks ahead of time to avoid getting too bored. I am assuming you are "missing" someone in your life (according to CW) THAT can make you a little depressed. Subconciously, sleeping may be the only way to cope with long lonely days...

But try the things I suggested. See how that goes.

    hi,

are you aware of thyroid problems. have you undergone thyroid test. because thyroid will make you sleep always... so first get a thyroid test that might be reason for a long sleep. also check weather you are healthy and not having iron deficiency. if you are weak then also you might be getting sleep for a long time.
