For about two weeks or so Ive been having really bad aches in my joints. My wrists shoulders and knees especially. They'll last usually a day and will be worst when I first wake up. This morning my knee was so bad I was in tears. Im not sure what it is. Its an achy pain but pretty severe to where it kinda feels sharp to. The joints become stiff as well. Heat dont help infact it makes it alittle worse. I dont know if its my mattress, i have a really bad mattress and since ive been sleeping on it different is when the aching started. Any other suggestions on what it might be? Im only eighteen so Im surprised im having these

Oh yeah a bad mattress can definitely do it! Try sleeping on the floor, on nothing more than maybe a yoga mat. It might be uncomfortable at first, but it's actually best for your body.

Otherwise, getting enough calcium, have an overall good diet, do you exercise, all that?

I take a calcium supplement for my knees and im around your age as well. I highly recommend calcium and also change where you sleep, get another mattress or as Mes suggested sleep on the floor

Any chance you've been bitten by a tick or other insect? This sounds somewhat like what I experienced with tick fever.

I just read in a gluten-free magazine that achy joints can be a symptom of being allergic to gluten. Just a thought, it could be something you are eating.
Keep a very detailed log of what you did, where/how you slept and what you ate as well as how you felt, for at least a week and see is you can connect some dots. Then begin correcting/eliminating certain things you think may be the problem, one at a time.

Yes, this could be a reason too!

Sorry for the late response! Been busy with the holidays. My joints havent been as bad lately since i flipped my mattress. SO i think it was a mix between that and getting use to exercise. I just got out of depression and have been getting around more, so I think it kind of took a tole on my body in period. Thanks for the help guys!
