Any one know any good hang over cures, specifically vicodin hangovers? But a good booze one is appreciated to, I'm sure I'll need it anyway.

Hair of the dog that bit you.
    A long bath.
My (alcohol) hangover remedy is: wake up whenever my body decides is time, which is always early. Drink a very large glass of water while soaking in the tub. Get out, dry off, sleep some more. By the time I'm done with the bath, I'm always ready to go back to bed. Then I wake up, drink more water, and eat carbs.
The trick is to get whatever you're hung over from out of your system. If you're going to use it again soon after, you can just stabilize the amount of it in your bloodstream.

I TRY to keep up with the waters during the night. If not I make sure to eat a massive meal before drinking, and take some headache tablets before bed. The next day for some reason fruit salad makes me feel so much better.

I have found though that if you're going to go out until 6am it doesn't matter what you do, you're still going to feel like garbage lol!

Coconut water is the best so far. If you listened to NPR this morning, there has been a talk about bottling coconut water and sell it not only to gas stations and stores which sell everyday grocery items, but also to night clubs, because of its rehydrating efficacy.

Some of these enterprising bottling companies are thinking it might be an attractive "pair" for alcoholic drinks to alleviate hang-over.

It does not matter what remedy you use, alcohol is eliminated at a constant rate and therefore you have to wait it out. The only thing you can do is curb the side effects like the headache with some advil, or a bath to stop any body aches.

As was passed down to me by my father,

Never drink those fruity, fizzy things. Those will make you sicker than a dog the next morning. Don't drink too much wine. Wine's made from grapes which is a fruit. If it's you intent to get drunk, whiskey and water with a twist of lemon (optional) and lots of ice. If it's going to be a long evening, drink beer. You can't drink enough beer to get too drunk.

My dad's 85 years old. I still haven't met anyone who could drink him under the table even now. And no, he's not an alcoholic.

It does take time to leave you system but rehydrating with plenty of water and then replacing the vitamins lost will help. Especially vitamin C. Get some lean protien. Alcohol turns to sugar in the body so avoiding sugar is probably a good idea.

Drinking less and not taking things like Vicodin, would be a better alternative.

"Too much" as in an overdose? That becomes a question for a doctor. So, I'm going to close this thread and tell you to see a doctor immediately.
