    Default Thrush! (Urgent advice needed)

Basically I have a case of thrush and me and my boyfriend were having sex today and it all of a sudden hurt my vagina to my buttocks and now when I pee it really stings. I'm totally confused, I've checked out my vagina and buttocks and they both look fine just red but I'm worrying because it stings so bad when I pee. I am treating the thrush and I've used a pessary for the internal symptoms and I have cream for the external symptoms.

But I just want to know has this happened to anyone else before and how long will it take for the skin between my vagina and buttocks to heal? I'm using sudocrem on it at the moment but I'm not sure if it's going to work although I have only put it on tonight. It's also getting me very down and I'm nervous that it may have split although I'm sure there would be lots of bleeding.

    Thanks for any advice posted.

Last time I checked your not really meant to have sex while having thrush as it can be passed on to your partner and it can also cause you pain. I'm not sure when the pain will go away I'd say go to your doc if it gets really bad. (BTW I sympathise ALOT with you I've had it for 3 months now ) If you do plan on having sex while you have it you should use some anti-fungal cream with your partner and I'd say deff use a condom. Also if he does have it now it will only get retransmitted and you'll have lots of trouble if you keep getting reinfected.

Ah yes I know, but I have inserted a pill into my vagina and my symptoms have all gone but I'm still using my cream and so is my partners. 3 months? I can't believe that, I've found the pessary kit effective if you haven't tried it. I've had the infection for about 3 days now and I think it may have pretty much cleared up. But now I'm having issues with the skin between my vagina and buttocks, sorry to sound a bit disgusting but I'm pretty worried. I don't know if it's going to heal properly but I don't really want to go to my doctor because it looks fine it's just red and sore. I'm feeling a bit down because of it though

Ahh yes the chalky stuff is irritating but it hasn't caused any stinging for me. Good luck with your hospital trip by the way, I hope everything works out for you I'm not sure if I've split my perineum, because it really does hurt
