That's the trick though, Keeping your look natural. I'm 22. I try to use a lot of tans andd browns or greens on a daily basis. However I LOVE colors and eye make up! .. Its hard for me to restrain myself sometimes but i do know the effects of too much or too little.. Its an art really! lol
I know!! My friend sent me a book on make up ideas for Asians (since applying make up for Asian women can be pretty different for caucasion women) and I have discovered a whole new world of possibilities! I was raised in a house hold where make up was absolutely TABOO. Like, almost a sin. Weird. But I am having so much fun playing with make up. Though, I think I'm still finding my wings. I am always afraid that I'll go out accidentally looking like a hooker or something!

Sounds like you're pretty make-up savvy! I wish I was too!

Your heading in the right direction.. Getting tips and reading up on ways to do your makeup...
here's the biggest thing I know about doing make up..
the key is highlighting and shadowing,
the trick is doing that in the right places

it's the same for caucasions and asians its just doing it in different areas

Oh but trust me I'm no makeup pro, I just enjoy it!

See, I don't even know what highlighting and shadowing is! I've always wanted to get a make over at one of those make up counters at a deparment store, but my skin is so incredibly sensitive that I can only use certain products. One time I got make up done at a dept store and my whole face swelled up.

Lol you'll figure it all out. Highlighting and shadowing is just the way of useing a light color and dark color to accentuate your features.

and having sensitive skin must be rough.. I'm pretty blessed with fairly tough skin. Which is very good considering what I put it through most of the time!

honestly you need to not be so bothered about that.

in fact, you should probably use it for fun! go around acting like you are 16, and see about getting into places where 16 year olds would be or hang out.

kinda like the "never been kissed" movie!

You will find out in a few years how you love that compliment ! People used to think my younger sister was older than me (when I was 18 - 23). My younger sister is 6 years younger, and believe me, she is a lot prettier than me. But now it feels so good when nobody believes I am in my 40s.

I understand what you mean, I'm quite petite myself...I'm short, plus I have a small frame...I'm 18 and people mistake me for being 11 or 12. I hate it, I want to look my age not like a little girl...

I still also have this problem, at 25 being passed for under 18. A few months ago I was asked for ID to buy cigarettes and I'm always asked for ID when I buy alcohol. It's always embarrassing in a way, I don't know why because it's supposed to be a good thing. I don't wear make up often and I'm also only 5.2 tall so this could be a reason.

Many teenagers wear make up and 'older' clothing to be passed for over 18/21, it's something I've never agreed with. A little make up can boost your features but too much serves no purpose.
