purple nipples? :/

ok so i have had some soreness with my nipples the past week or 2. i just put it down to the new birth control. it is mainly in the very tip of my nipples, not the whole nipple, just the ends. some days they r more sore than others but it's tolerable as long as nothing touches them. my bra even hurts, i have had to start wearing a sports bra instead, cause it doesn't move around alot. well i haven't thought much of it till 2night. i was showering & noticed that the tips of my nipples r purplish. not a royal purple but a deep shade of purple. the rest of my nipple is it's normal color.
i took a pregnancy test like a week or 2 ago just incase wen the soreness started but it came back negative. ne one every have this problem? ne ideas wat is going on?

I think I would put it down to the new birth control you are on (this happened to me, nipples felt like they were on fire). If your problem doesn't ease of in a week or so I would get it checked out by your Doc.

where they discolored too?
the soreness has been there for more than a week but if that stays i can live with it. i'll go if the discoloration doesn't go away. my breast r not sore either, just the ends of my nips
