Unhappy Scared, confused ... should I get tested?

For either HIV/AIDS or a general STD tests for anything?

I have no health insurance and don't get paid a lot of money for expensive testing. It'll be several months before I'll be able to get on the insurance with my job.

Here's my story. I met this guy in college from standing in the registration line waiting. Got to know each other, went on a couple dates, fooled around in his bed a few times ... to where I found out he wanted friendship which upset me since I liked him a lot. I eventually got over it and accepted his friendship.

Last month (since I have issues with sex due to being a rape victim at the age of 13, I've never truly felt "sex" in a positive way and have always tried to with boyfriends and failed. My curiosity to know what it actually felt like after enjoyable four play and oral sex done to me, got ahead of me. We had sex ... but he had to pull out after putting his penis in all the way since I started having some discomfort from not having anything penetrate me that way in awhile since my ex .. I guess. We didn't use a condom and no I'm no pregnant.

Now my closer friend, we did fool around and I did give him oral ... but I don't know. I'm more concerned about this guy more than my friend.

    Lately I've noticed this;

    - Constant memory loss and confusion to where I have forgotten how to do something at work
    - Constant headaches from when I go to sleep at night and when I wake up and usually last a long time
    - Dull aches in my muscles (ones that last longer than the ones I get from being on my feet at work)
    - Dull aches in my vaginal area ... likes on the lips or the inside, kinda like the bone is aching a bit. I've felt inside and I feel nothing unusual.
    - Sometimes sharp pains in that area.
    - All of a sudden sore throat but not accompanied by runny nose or anything that associates with a cold or cold season)
    - Constant small fevers (like my body feels warm and hot often) it's like on and off fever, but constant.
    - No night sweats, but I do sweat a lot often
    - I've had these little raised bumps on the top of my eyelids lately. Not noticeable until you look up close.
    - Constant weight loss (I use to be anorexic for almost two years but my weight is stable now, but lately I'm losing it way too fast, like 4 lbs in a day sometimes)
    - Lower back is aching most of the time
    - All around body aches
    - I've had trouble breathing due to being a cigarette smoker before, but lately it's almost ridiculous
    - Acid reflux
    - Sometimes diarrhea, frequently in the past day now like 3 bowel movements in a day.
    - Dizzy feeling

Tylenol Extra Strength seems to be the only thing that helps for the pain...

I have no unusual vaginal discharge or odor. No painful or burning urination (only burn I get is slight burning after I urinate but that only happens when I've drunken too much soda in a day, if I drink a lot of water during the day, it never happens, weird?) No itching, burning, or sores in my vaginal area.

Now I do social smoke with friends, but usually I don't get any symptoms of cigarette withdrawal since my mind is very strong and I know I can't get addicted and I've never been able to.

It's kinda of cold here in Florida and I don't have any symptoms that note that a cold is with me.

I did a rough heavy period a week ago which made me go into depression and guilt and gave me lots of aches in my vaginal area but it went away when my period ended, but the vaginal aches were never there until recently.

Please help. I'm worried, stressing myself out, getting depressed, crying myself to sleep ... Maybe some of these are stress. But I need help.

    What should I do...

I already feel like a trash and my own curiosity and minds greed got ahead of me.

Find a women's health and welfare center around your area. They often offer or assist you in getting access/discount for HIV/AIDS/STIs screening if you want to be tested.

About your general maladies, I reckon it's more on your mind. You stress too much! Chill out, breath and just let go of your worries.

Your reflux, depression, diarrhea, dizziness, lower back pain, constant weight loss as you said, are but symptoms of your anxiety. Try to relax.

Most of that would not be caused by an STD. You should get checked after/before every partner as a precaution but it doesn't sound like the typical symptoms of any STD to me. Planned parenthood and similar places will do testing for cheap or sometimes even free if you qualify as low income and have no insurance.

Have you looked into any state health insurance programs? I was never without insurance even when I had no job and no income. I didn't have great insurance for a year but enough I could go to the ER or fill prescriptions for things like antibiotics. A doctor's visit was only $50 even without insurance.

$50 is a lot of money for someone who gets maybe $110 on their paychecks and has to give most of it up because they're paying a loan back.

Sorry about double post, couldn't edit my previous reply.

What about the dull aches and sharp pains in my vaginal area? Those have been going ever since a few weeks after we had sex... I doubt that's stress since I wasn't stressed out after we had sex. I've been stressed for a few weeks now that I'm seeing things in my body's behavior that I know aren't normal or caused by stressed.

And these aches are everyday, multiple times a day, sometimes worse and sometimes able to stand them. And some are quick sharp pains.

It really does not sound at all like your symptoms are from an STD. The discomfort in your vaginal area might be from the uncomfortable sex, or you may be getting close to your menstral cycle, or you may be getting a UTI or yeast infection.

However, we aren't Doctors here and can't do any definitive tests to confirm that you do not have any STDs, we can only give opinions based on what you've told us. And (DUH) opinions aren't facts. So if you want/need to know 100% for sure if you do or do not have any STD's you need to go to a medical center and get tested.

I did a quick search on the Planned Parenthood website for locations they have in FL, and there are a BUNCH! Set up an appointment there and go. If you make only $110 per paycheck you will definitely qualify for free services. I went there for years to get my birth control and yearly exam when I was a student. All services were free, and their facilities are clean, and the staff is professional - just like any Doctor's office. All they ever asked of me was to make a donation to them if I was able, so I would give $5 or so if I had it, but it isn't required.

I strongly suggest that you go check P.P. out. I think that is the only way you will be able to put your mind at ease... and if you can afford *FREE* then you're all set.
