Thread: Menstruation and anal pain?

I almost always have this pain too, although it has become better since I started the birth control pills. It's worst on the first day then it becomes better, but it is a very uncomfortable feeling. I take one light painkiller (the kind that says "it helps with period pains") on the first day and this helps me a lot. I'm not exactly sure why this happens and I thought it wasn't common at all until I read your post actually. I thought it was related to hemorrhoids (it could be, but I've no idea).
