I've been struggling with hormone related issues for nearly 9 years, ranging from mild acne, to hair loss.
I have spent years oblivious to any actual condition which may be affecting my health, but recently I started thinking and I found out about Oestrogen Dominance.
I was led to this, after looking at the endless list of symptoms that both myself and my Mum have. Over the last 10 years we've both suffered with alopecia, acne, fibrocystic breasts, severe mood swings and last year my Mum was diagnosed with Oestrogen sensitive breast cancer.
I realised that maybe it was more than co-incidence, and have found that Oestrogen Dominance is the most exact, clear and accurate diagnosis and explanation.
The only problem is, that this condition is rarely recognised, and I don't know how to go about getting help. I know there must be something, or someone out there which can help alleviate the symptoms caused by this condition, but I have struggled to find any information.
Does anyone else out there have this condition, diagnosed or undiagnosed?
Anyone with advice, experience or just kind words would be a massive help to me.
This is one of my many crusades, as I am also currently fighting for a referral to my local mental health unit for treatment of two other rarely understood conditions, Dermatillomania and Trichotillamania.
