Hi Guys,

Dont know if anyone will have any advice for me on this but ill give it a shot!

Ok well basically ive been getting back problems for a while now. But it got worse the other night when I bent down to take off my sock!! This incredible pain appeared in my lower back and when i stood up it was painful to take the weight of my left leg. The next day my legs were very achey and then i got the pain again but in my right leg where it was painful to take my weight off it. When I lay down in bed the pain got worse and i couldnt sit up, I had to roll myself sideways and then get up.
The majority of the pain has gone now but every now and then a sudden movement will cause me pain.
Im quite concerned but dont want to see my GP because im a bit of a hyperchondriac and always fear the worst.
For over a year now I have taken to lying in bed propped up against the wall with my legs out front using my laptop for a few hours a night. Is this bad for my posture and maybe whats causing me pain?
I know you guys arnt medical proffesionals but just wondering if theres anyone here who has maybe had a similar experience?
