Thread: Weird rumbling, left side abdomen...?

Just curious ladies.....for about a month, I've had a strange gurggling or rumble feeling in my left side abdomen. I'm pretty sure its not my stomach. It's not painful....just a sensation of rumbling......

I can't say it happens at any given time....cuz it'll happen after I eat and it'll happen 6 hours after eating and haven't consumed anything. I'm not constipated (bowel movement once or more daily) and everything seems to be working properly in terms of digestion, etc.

I'm usually good with self-diagnosing things at home in terms of what foods I've consumed to cause certain symptoms.... but this is kinda baffling me.

Any thoughts?

I too have had those same symptoms.... not my stomach, not gas, not something I ate, it comes and goes as it will, which makes me hesitant to see a doctor. I'll make the appointment, and the noises won't happen, and then I'll look like a complete fool. I do notice that when it happens I can inhale or exhale deeply and it exaggerates the noises.

I see from your post that it's been some time that you originally posted your question -- did you ever find out what the issue is?
