Thread: Sore/Bruised Nipples :(

My nipples feel bruised, and extremely sensitive to touch. My breasts feel just fine, its only my nipples. They're slightly darker too. I've never had this issue before. I've been on the same birth control for several years, until I switched to my IUD, but I've had the pain since before the IUD.

I've been trying to do research on this issue, but everything points to pregnancy. I've taken pregnancy tests and my IUD was pretty recent, so I highly doubt I'm pregnant. Does anyone know what else could cause this?

nipples very connected to hormones. If this were botherin me, I'd chk w/ endocrinologist or maybe gen practitioner, blood tests for hormone levels prob give some idea of what's gon on.
