Go to the NHS if your uni age your no doubt paying national insurance anyway! So put it to good use I say
I went to a university counsellor not long ago and they confirmed that i have ED-NOS. She suggested a referral to a specialist, but said they'd have to charge me. Now i've received a letter in the post telling me it would be 12 sessions at £30 each. I simply can't afford that.
I've been going to my doctor since i was 3, and wouldn't really like to go to her about this, and i don't know whether if i did, the help would be free, but i'm guessing since it's the NHS it should be? Any advice, or should i try to kick my bulimia alone?

no it should be free.
i mean there are places that are private and so they can charge
but you can get the same help for free on the NHS.
if you dont want to talk to your regular doctor you can ask to see a different one.
no questions asked.
dont leave until they refer you to the community mental health team who will put you in touch with an eating disorders service
i've been bulimic for ten years
its not pleasant
and i havent been able to manage to kick it by myself.
please try and get some help x
