It could be a side effect, I'm not sure. But the real question is has she gone to the doctor and gotten checked out? Has she brought up concerns of her illness being caused by the vaccine to a professional??
I didn't have the vaccine. I'm not comfortable putting pretty much anything in my body that is some new magic "potion". I decided I'd risk it. My mom, however, is in her early 60's and is a teacher, so her doctor recommended she get it. She did (back when we had the big scare with H1N1).
Since then, she has been sicker more often than I can ever remember before. Head cold after head cold after chest cold after chest cold etc etc etc. They are all bronchial related, lots of coughig and congestion.
I've also noticed lots of others I work with being sick alot this winter, spring and summer so far.
Has anyone heard about any side effects of the H1N1 vaccine? I don't want to sound like some crazy person here, and totally acknowledge the two maybe totally unrelated, but I'm honestly just very curious.

Got both H1N1 and the regular flu shot (earlier). Same thing as for maybe 15 years or more: no problems, no flu. My wife doesn't get flu shots. She has been sick this winter a lot and given me a cold or two.
It's not really a concern she has...just something I wondered about. It's all upper respiratory stuff, which seems tobe what many others around here are dealing with too.
I'm sure it's not related....just one of those things (among many) that crossed my mind.![]()
