All this week I have been having a pain on the left side, bottom of my vagina near the opening, close to my buttocks, its swollen and feels hard like a lump is in it, I made a Dr's appointment which the 1st available is in 2 weeks (which is way too long) and I dont want to go to the emergency room and sit for hours. I begin feeling it about 4 days ago I have had sex recently and I work out pretty regularly. Warm showers, sleeping naked, with my legs open is the only thing that relieves the pain. Standing, sitting the wrong way, driving, and especially walking all make it more painful. I dont have discharge or any odors and the sex was with a long term sex partner and condoms were used because I am not on birth control. I asked a friend and she said it sounds like I pulled a groin muscle which i did not know women could do, i have been on various sites and all the info just seems kinda sketchy does anybody have any idea what this could be???????![]()
pulled groin muscle. Woman can do that. A hernia will bulge, too. We can also pull breast muscles. If the pain goes into your butt and then follows down your leg, then, sciatica is involved. Working out may be one contributor, if your form isn't right or the weights too heavy. The exercise itself may be wrong no matter the form. My personal opinion is that leg squats and leg thrusts do more harm than good. Using Nautilus for glutes can create such mischief.
On-line data like this is sketchy because, well, we're only women.
There isn't any more that you can do until you see your doctor.
